In October 2014, a joint venture between Clearview Hotel Capital and a partner acquired the 910-room Hyatt St. Louis at the Arch in St. Louis, MO. The Hotel is located directly across from the iconic Gateway Arch, the tallest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere which was built as a monument to the westward expansion of the United States. The Hotel is also located equidistant (4 blocks) to the Convention Center and the St. Louis Cardinal's ballpark, Busch Stadium. The Hotel was originally built in  1907 and operated as the Adam's Mark from 1986 to 2008. The Hotel was converted to a Hyatt Regency following a $62 million renovation, upgrading all aspects of the Property. Corporately managed by Hyatt, the Hotel features 86,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 20,000 square foot Grand Ballroom and a rooftop terrace with unparalleled views of the Arch; a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse; a Red Kitchen and Bar; a Brewhouse Sports Bar; and a full-service Starbucks.
