In June 2016, a joint venture between Clearview Hotel Capital and a partner acquired the 1,070-room Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. Built in 1965, the iconic Hotel is located just a few blocks north of Dupont Circle and has been visited by every U.S. president since it opened during Lyndon Johnson's administration. The Hotel features 115,000 square feet of meeting space including the 36,000 square foot International Ballroom which hosts the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner and the National Prayer Breakfast. The full-service Property is managed by Hilton and has a restaurant and lounge; McClellans Sports Bar; Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf; and a health club with outdoor pool.
